The Gokyo to Everest Base Camp Trek is one of the most scenic and rewarding journeys in Nepal’s Khumbu region. Perfect for nature lovers and adventure seekers, this route offers a peaceful alternative to the classic EBC trail - taking you through the stunning Gokyo Valley and Gokyo Lakes, before joining the traditional Everest Base Camp path.
Explore the charming Sherpa villages like Namche, Phortse and Machhermo, while enjoy the breathtaking views from the Gokyo Ri (5,360m) and Kalapatthar (5643), offering panoramic views of Everest (8,849m), Lhotse, Makalu, and Cho Oyu, along with the dramatic Ngozumpa Glacier, Nepal’s longest.
Along the way, we'll experience warm Sherpa hospitality, ancient monasteries, and wildlife sightings in Sagarmatha National Park, including musk deer, Himalayan Tahr, and—if lucky—even the red panda or snow leopard.
